About
Between June 15-17, when members of the extended Tabor community contribute $25,000 to support one or more of the many priorities on campus, including Academics, Arts & Athletics, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Faculty, Financial Aid, Ocean Programming, and Waterfront & Campus, an anonymous donor will unlock $25,000 for the Fund for Tabor. When the community meets the challenge, the donor is prepared to extend an additional $25,000 challenge to support the Tabor experience.
Additionally, Peter & Jennifer Francis P’14, ‘16 are offering a 3:1 challenge to the Tabor community if you make a gift to support the Tabor Boy Deckhouse Fund. For every $3 raised for the deckhouse, Peter & Jennifer will match that amount with $1 up to $100,000.
Because of you, current and future students have access to the people, places and programs that make the Tabor experience possible!
Check out these priorities where you can make an immediate impact:
- Tabor Boy Deckhouse
In 2021, Tabor began the first phase of replacing Tabor Boy’s 70-year-old deckhouse. When combined with the Francis family’s gift, the Deckhouse challenge seeks to raise $600,000 to help underwrite the cost of construction. We hope you’ll consider making a gift to support the Deckhouse Fund and Tabor’s next generation of sailors.
- Tabor Tennis Courts
To improve our tennis program, Tabor is currently resurfacing its tennis courts for safer and better match and recreational play. We hope you’ll consider making a gift to support the tennis program and Tabor’s next generation of players.
- Travis Roy ‘95 Ice Rink
Tabor’s ice hockey rink is currently undergoing much-needed renovations to make the rink safer and more energy efficient. We hope you’ll consider making a gift to support the ice hockey program and the school’s next generation of players.
