What is the RamDay of Giving?
A “day of giving” is a 24-hour fundraising campaign designed to rally supporters, both existing and new, around our mission. It creates a sense of excitement, urgency and friendly competition in our community.
Allen Academy’s first RamDay of Giving will begin at 12am on Thursday, September 19th and end at 11:59pm.
Can I make a gift before September 19th and have it count towards the challenges?
Absolutely! Gifts made on this site all count towards RamDay of Giving goals and challenges. Thank you for jump starting this campaign with an early gift!
What are the Giving Levels?
What is the impact of my gift?
You make the difference between good and great at Allen, which allows us to make choices rather than compromises. A gift to the annual fund is the first gift we ask of alumni, parents, parents of alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff, trustees, and friends. Annual gifts provide unrestricted funds to support the full range of programs offered by our school.
Your contribution provides operational support for academics, arts, athletics, technology, and financial aid; you help Allen Academy attract and retain outstanding faculty and staff; and you support enhancements and maintenance for our beautiful campus.
Will one gift count for each of my children's grade level that attend Allen?
Yes! If you have more than one child at Allen, please be sure and add each child and their graduating “Class of” in the giving form section. Each child will receive credit for their individual grade level and division challenges.
Can my gift count for multiple challenges?
Yes, it’s possible! If a challenge is running simultaneously with another, your gift will count in both scenarios, thereby maximizing your gift matches. This is especially true for alumni who are also current parents. Just be sure to add your “affiliations” (alumni +year, current parent + grade) when prompted within the gift form. Where do I add a name if my gift is in honor/memory of someone?
On the giving form, after your form of payment has been input, a page will pop up that will allow you to make your gift in honor/memory of someone and enter that person’s name. There will also be an option for comments and uploading a photo/image!
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes, Allen Academy is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. All donations are tax deductible as allowed by law. Our federal tax ID # is 74-1821193.
