We are grateful for the confidence and intellectual prowness CWA instilled in both our adult children alum, J’Nai 05’ and Jordan 07’ Bridges. Their careers find them traveling the world confidently communicating, adapting and interfacing with world leaders to everyday people. Jordan and J’Nai possess an impressive comfortabity and embrace the culture in any setting they find themselves while leaving a humble and inspiring footprint representative of the CWA brand, their family and community. Charles Wright was the center of my life for decades. It educated me in the 60's. It educated my kids, employed my wife as librarian, and gave me 35 years of the best teaching environment I can imagine. I would not be me without Charles Wright.

I support Charles Wright Academy because it’s a place where curiosity is encouraged, community is strong, and every student is truly known and supported, and that's more important now that ever.

Charles Wright was my first and only interview when I moved back to Washington. I interviewed with Diane Hunt and knew this is where I belonged. With Diane’s leadership, the Middle School’s commitment, bond and love for students & community; this was my home! I have retired but continue to support Charles Wright by subbing when needed. I appreciate continuing to be a part of the Charles Wright Family.

CWA was Sam's first full time teaching. Great place to start my career that is winding down in my 59 years of work. Goal is 60. Ruthann and I loved being in the early formative and transitional years of 1965-1972 plus 1973-1976. All day K, formal PE program, Outdoor education, Green Derby, and Beginning School were projects that kept me busy beyond coaching, teaching, and administrating. Son Spencer was in first all day K and first grade. Great people to work with, for, and lead. Have maintained contact with class of '72 and particularly '73. Donn Laughlin and John Long and their families remain in touch. Dave Floyd, Sam Greeley, and Sid Eaton remain in contact.

I worked in Facilities and Transportation for 15 years and Charles Wright was like a second home.
