The Distinguished Alumnus/a Award This award is presented to a graduate who has demonstrated outstanding loyalty and service to Gould Academy, as well as to their profession or community over a long period.
We are so pleased to share that the winner of the 2023 Distinguished Alumna Award is:
Kim Siebert ‘73
“Kim has served Gould in many capacities: as a member of the Board of Trustees, as the president of the Alumni Association, and as a class agent. Beyond this, Kim is one of those people who rallies others to Gould’s cause.” Sam Adams ‘77
The Michael S. Stowell Volunteer Award This award is presented to a person who has provided exemplary and loyal volunteer service to Gould Academy for many years. This person has gone above and beyond to support Gould and its mission and core values.
We are so pleased to share that the winner of the 2023 Michael S. Stowell Volunteer Award is:
Mark Bryant ‘76
“Mark has hosted the New York Gould-to-You event for years. He is an active partner and recruiter for the gathering, focusing on community building, and he generously insists on shouldering the cost of the entire affair.” - Karen Burns, Director of Development
The Gould Athletic Hall of Fame recognizes the outstanding achievements and contributions in the area of athletics by Gould students, alumni, and coaches.
We are so pleased to share that the 2023 Gould AHOF inductees are:
Paul Koubek ‘90
Paul’s career as an accomplished mountain and rock climber began at the age of five when he and his family summited Mount Katahdin. He is currently an IGMGA certified American Mountain guide, among many other impressive accomplishments. At Gould, Paul was a cross country runner, nordic skier, and cyclist. He was captain of both the cross country and the nordic team.
Christine Shaner Horning ‘95
While skiing for Dartmouth, Christine earned Academic All American honors. She has gone on to earn her PSIA certification in nordic, alpine, and telemark skiing. At Gould, Christine was a cross country runner and a nordic skier. She competed in Junior Nationals and both the cross country and the nordic team won MAISADs.
Jebediah Clarke ‘12
After a solid high school athletic career, Jeb went on to play Division 3 baseball at Skidmore College. After graduating, he was able to combine his love of baseball with his Business and Economics Degree. Jeb is currently an Analyst, Major League Strategic Information at the Boston Red Sox. At Gould, Jeb was a soccer player, nordic skier, and baseball player. He was captain of both the soccer and nordic teams.
The David F. Lombard Reunion Giving Awards
The Lombard Cup- This award is presented to any class who raises $50,000 in the twelve months preceding their 50th reunion.
The Lombard Plaque- These awards are presented to any class who raises the following amount of money in the twelve months preceding their reunion.
5 Year Reunion- $5,000
10 Year Reunion- $10,000
25 Year Reunion- $25,000
