Who can participate? (Hint … it’s everyone!)
The annual Day of Giving this year is focused on showcasing our incredible alumni and their connections with Head-Royce.. that doesn’t mean that you can’t participate!
Everyone that has made it this far has a connection with a Head-Royce alum, whether through your child, grandchild or family friend. Your gift not only honors the the impact of the School for over 5200 alumni, it supports the 900+ future alumni (i.e. current students) that benefit directly!
When can I give?
While this is a “Day of Giving,” the Head-Royce Advancement office works all year engaging donors on varying schedules. Public campaigns are contained in our fall drive (“GiveTober”), end of the year tax season (December) and on this Day of Giving in March.
How can I give?
This Day of Giving website accepts many forms of payment: credit card, Venmo, Paypal, Bitcoin, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer, or pledge via check. Simply click Give Now.
What is the Annual Fund? And what does my gift support?
The Annual Fund is the philanthropic foundation that touches nearly every area of the school. The largest support is for student scholarships and faculty salaries, providing for the core community of Head-Royce. I made a gift to Head-Royce already this fiscal year. Will I be counted for the Day of Giving?
Today is focused on new gifts to the school, as we have only reached 75% of our fiscal goal. Please consider making a nominal gift to help us reach today’s participation goals and unlock challenge funds!
Can I make multiple gifts during the Day of Giving?
Of course! However, you will only be counted once as a donor. Multiple gifts will not help increase overall donor count or your class donor count, but will add to the funds that help Head-Royce students and faculty.
Will my sustaining gift be counted for the Day of Giving?
Thank you for your ongoing support! If you set up a new sustaining gift during the challenge — or increase the size of an existing sustaining gift — that will be counted for the challenge. If you are already a sustaining donor, you can make an additional gift of any size during the Day of Giving, and you will be counted.
I want to make a gift via stock (or an IRA, a donor-advised fund, etc.). Can I participate too?
Yes! Please email Mitch Mitchell ([email protected]) to discuss options for participating in the challenges, including making a pledge that can be fulfilled by June 30, 2023.
Can I set up a match or challenge on the Day of Giving?
Yes! You can create incentive challenges for your class based on a participation or dollar goal. Just click here and follow the prompts.
