Day of Giving
This year we would like to offer the opportunity to direct your giving toward the area of the school where you found your connection. Below are some words about each to give you a sense of what we will support with this designated gift.
⚡ Area of Greatest Need: Show your support for the School with a gift to Annual Fund that can be used by the administration and faculty to support the most pressing needs. The largest expenses of the school are student scholarships and faculty salaries/benefits.
📚 Professional Development for Faculty and Staff: The magic in the Head-Royce classroom is because our teachers are on the cutting-edge of their craft. One of the things that attracts and retains amazing teachers is our commitment to professional development.
🧬 STEM and Academic Excellence: Head-Royce continues to offer one of the strongest academic programs in the country, preparing students for the ever-changing world they are entering. Students at the School are equipped with the tools and understanding to adeptly navigate their future.
🎨 Visual and Performing Arts: “Whole Child” education begins with the Arts. Whether facing an audience in an on-stage performance, working in theater tech behind-the-scenes or honing skills in a design studio, the Arts are part of what makes the Head-Royce experience so robust.
🏊🏽♂️ Student Athletes: Athletic participation often forms the “family” for many Head-Royce students, where they find meaningful connection, push themselves to new limits and balance the academics with the physical mind-body awareness that comes with sports.
🚀 Community Life and Engagement: While we often talk about the work in the classroom, it is the meaningful connections formed outside that controlled environment that can be most memorable for our alumni. These peer spaces are where students can experiment, learn to fail and experience true personal development.
